English dessert made by combining fruit puree, whipped cream and sugar.  Delicious, no-fuss fruit dessert that can be enjoyed any time of the year.
Prep time : 15 minutes + cooling
Cooking time : 10 minutes
(Serves 4)
200 gram blueberries
50 gram sugar
1 tablespoon cold water
250 double cream
200 gram Crème Fraîche
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
In a small saucepan place blueberries, sugar and 1 tablespoon water; bring it to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for further 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
In a large bowl put double cream, add vanilla sugar and whip until soft peaks start to form. Fold in crème fraiche and cooled blueberries. Spoon into serving glasses and serve.
If desired, decorate with some blueberries and cream.

Yes, good any time of year, but perfect now with all the stone fruit in season. I am going to try this with plums.

Hi how are you? Good to see you here and your lovely blueberry fool. I have to take advantage of those berries now as summer is getting near to an end.
I like the way you prepared this dessert. I have to try them as they look really gorgeous and delicious. Have a great weekend.
