Spicy Apple Bundt Cakes

’’ We would like to visit you’’ I wrote to my friend K.
’’ You and A. are always welcome’’ she wrote me back.
Even though she lives less than an hour away, I don’t see K. and her two adorable sons very often.  A. just loves to spend time with them and while children are occupied with each other, it gives us time to catch up and have a little gossip.
Immediately I started to think what I could bring with me. Million ideas rushed through my mind.

The weather in the morning was promising, sun was shining and we thought it would be great to go to the park. But by the time I and A. got to her it looked it was going to rain. We decided to stay in.
K. loves to cook as much as I do and whenever we visit her table is full with delicious food. And this time was no different.  She made absolutely delicious mustard seed marinated chicken skewers, freshly baked pitas, salad and that’s only to name few.
After the lunch it still wasn’t raining and we managed to have a little walk around the yard. And I saw this year first snowdrops! It just made me smile!
Thank you K. for your warms and lovely day we had!

After thinking what to bring with me, I decide to go for spicy apple mini bundt cakes. They were perfect for afternoon coffee.

  1. Lovely photos and enticing little cakes! Apple is one of my favorite flavors, but unfortunately the kids don't like it as much as I do and I end up eating it all myself. Well… maybe that's a good thing!! 😉
